I create art because I know I can always improve. Art has been with me through the thick and the thin, every up and every down. If I’m feeling sad, tired, anxious, or even happy, my trusty sketchbook will be there when I want to draw. I create art by making what I see in my head - the characters, personalities, and worlds that only I have been able to see. I am able to create extensions of myself in an avenue that is boundless. I can be, or create, whatever I want to. The worlds of imagination I create can be put to paper and screen in a way that speaking or writing never could.
I can always try to do something new with art. Whether it be a new anatomical style or attempting realism, I always strive to reach new artistic frontiers for myself. But my end goal is always to improve. I may never reach the point where I am satisfied enough with my art to stop improving. But, yet again, that is part of what I love. I love art because I can always improve.
